John Wick (2014)

“Everything’s got a price.”

What’s it about?

A group of Russian gangsters learns to never mess with someone who’s got nothing to lose, after breaking into a retired assassin’s house and taking everything from him.

Who’s in it?

Keanu Reeves, Theon Greyjoy and Willem Dafoe.

Why should I watch it?

+ Brutal and fast paced action scenes
+ High body count
+ Great hand-to-hand fights mixed with guns (So hand-to-gun combat?)
+ Has an emotional scene that nearly hits has hard as the opening scene from Up
+ Interesting community of assassins

Why shouldn’t I watch it?

– Bad guys are pretty generic and some clichés
– If you’re more of a cat person
– If you’re Robb Stark

Anything else?

If you’re thinking of watching more movies with Keanu Reeves like 47 Ronin or Man of Tai Chi, don’t do it. Just don’t. Wait for John Wick 2.

    1. A Scanner Darkly, I haven’t seen that yet. He just needs to do more movies like this and less man of tai chi or 47 ronin aha Thanks man! You doing GoT reviews?

      1. Whoa, saw the trailer. The style looks intriguing man! Has a video game vibe if you know what I mean. I’m sold.
